 Latest Update Following last night’s announcements, as a small business, I face a dilemma. I have not been told to close but our customers have been advised not to gather in social areas. Above all I want to make sure I am doing the right thing for my customers and my staff. I will continue to stay open until the Government says otherwise, based on daily and weekly guidelines. Please rest assured the shop is being cleaned daily and there is plenty of space not to be in social contact with others. As a consequence I have decided to open at reduced hours from week commencing 23rd March 2020. The shop will be open Tuesday to Saturdays only, 10 – 4pm. The shop will be open this coming weekend as normal and I very much hope those of you that have booked will still want to come. Did you know you can paint at home with one of our take away kits? You can come in to the shop to collect the paint and choose your pottery. I, Rachel will guide you on how to use the kit in person at the shop or I am happy to advise via social media. We hope all of you who have booked will still want to come. If you prefer not to come into the shop but would still like to paint we have the above take away kits. I would be very grateful if you would continue to support the shop and I thank you for your loyalty over the past 18 years. Rachel Takeaway Kits We are busy creating a number of options for things for you to do at home. As many of you know we currently offer a pottery painting takeaway kit. You come and choose your pottery and hire our kit (refundable deposit of £50) then once painted return it to us for glazing and firing. We will be offering a clay kit too for those of you who fancy having a play with clay. We will fire your pieces and you will be able to paint them too. We also have some reduced decopatch animal kits and some letters which can be decoupaged or painted. (Prices from 25p to £5). Let us know if there is anything else we can help you create at home . Anyone fancy a Paintalong? I am hoping to improve my tech skills so that we could paint together or I can be on hand if you are painting at home.
